All employees, officers, and directors have a duty to report promptly, verbally, or in writing, any instance of any improper practice of which they are aware in connection with the operations or activities of the Company. This obligation requires that any employee who becomes aware of any actual or suspected violation of the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, any applicable law, or any of the Company's policies or procedures must report it promptly to his or her manager, to the Compliance Officer, or to the Speak Up Line. This also applies to non-employees who are believe there is an alleged violation.
The Speak Up Line may be accessed as follows:
For employees and non-employees based in the United States:
- You may submit a report by phone by calling the toll-free number at 800-461-9330.
- You may also text your concern to 301-900-3980.
- You may submit a report electronically from any computer having internet access (work, home, public library, neighbor, etc.) by going to our Speak Up Line home page and clicking on "Report an Incident.”
For employees and non-employees based outside the United States:
- You may submit a report by going to our Speak Up Line home page and clicking on "Report an Incident.”
- You may also submit a report by phone by going to our Speak Up Line home page and using the country-specific drop down menu under “Call Us” that will provide instructions for international calling.
All reports will be treated in a confidential manner, except where disclosure is required to properly investigate the matter or is mandated by law. You may choose to make a report anonymously. You will not be required to state your name to make a report to the Speak Up Line, but you can choose to do so. The Speak Up Line can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
All reports that are submitted by phone (whether to the live operator or by voice message) will be transcribed and entered into an electronic case management system for tracking and communication purposes. Both telephone reports and web-based reports will remain anonymous if anonymity has been requested, subject to local country restrictions. Calls to the Speak Up Line are never taped or traced.
